Our Story

Jenna and Kyle’s adventure began thanks to a good friend who knew they were meant to meet! Their first encounter was at Uccello’s in Rockford, where Kyle took one look at Jenna and felt an instant spark—he knew she was the one. That night, they talked for hours, diving into conversations that felt like they had known each other forever. Kyle was captivated by Jenna’s laughter, and Jenna couldn’t help but be drawn to Kyle’s warm, genuine smile.

As they continued talking and texting, it became clear that this wasn’t just a fleeting connection. They shared their dreams, fears, and everything in between, realizing they had found something special—a soulmate in each other. Kyle called Jenna “a blessing,” feeling grateful for the joy and love she brought into his life.

On August 8th, 2022, just around midnight, Kyle, with a heart full of excitement and nervous energy, asked Jenna to be his girlfriend. Jenna, feeling just as certain about their connection, said “yes,” and from that moment, their journey officially began.

Over the next year and a half, Jenna and Kyle went on countless dates, trips, and vacations, each adventure deepening their bond and love. From the stunning landscapes of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and the Silver Lake Sand Dunes to the breathtaking mountains of Tennessee, their travels were filled with laughter, excitement, and a few daring escapades.

But it wasn’t just the adventures that brought them closer. It was the quiet moments—the deep, heartfelt talks under the stars, the supportive whispers during challenging times, and the shared dreams of a future together. Every experience, big or small, became a blessing that shaped their love into something unbreakable.

On February 16th, 2024, Kyle planned a special weekend trip to Tennessee, packed with off-road ‘rock crawling’ in the mountains—a favorite pastime for both. Little did Jenna know, this trip was going to be full of surprises!

The next day, February 17th, they set out to explore a new overlook in the mountains. As Jenna gazed out at the view, soaking in the serene beauty, Kyle felt the perfect moment had arrived. He cleverly distracted Jenna, making her turn away, and when she turned back, there he was, on one knee. The mountain air was cold, but Jenna’s heart was warm as she saw the love of her life ready to ask the biggest question. Shocked and overjoyed, she exclaimed, “YES!”

And so, the rest of their adventure begins! With their hearts full of love and excitement, Jenna and Kyle are ready to take on the world together, knowing that every step they take is a blessing, and every moment shared is a testament to the soulmates they’ve found in each other.
